so like…. while I think I kinda tackled a possibly dissatisfying revenge with a blunt object I think that kurapika’s moral code & his distaste for killing without needing to kill & shit like that is an interesting source for slow-paced kurapika whump. thank u for ur time.

the tragedy of it all 2 me is obviously obviously from the start kurapika knows that nothing he does is gonna bring his family back… he has to live his whole life w that. (an additional tragedy being someone who doesn’t want to bear children while technically being able to continue the lineage)

I still don’t think that… it’s very likely in canon that chrollo would go after kurapika on a whim bc he’s cute. he already has tons of bitches… but a big part of the story I wanted to write is that they r both transgender… & kurapika finds out that they have this in common along w da reader

I wrote a couple fics where chrollo & kurapika are hooking up after kp passes on the chance to kill chrollo bc he begs kp to take his life. I think both of those things are pretty divergent from their canon motivations… at some point I started caring a lot about faithfulness to source material
