Young people: you’ll pay the most tax, own the least, live in worst housing, get the worst super returns, etc. Yet the political discourse is all about cutting welfare "handouts". The biggest handouts have always gone to wealth, inheritance, capital gains, housing. #intergenerationalfairness #auspol

A key idea: developing an #index with a basket of indicators to measure fairness — still in its early stages, but a tool that could shape the strategy.

👥 The goal? Combine senior expertise with youth enthusiasm to ensure policies foster opportunity
