For traceroute you need to know the identifier and sequence number of the ICMP packet. In an echo message they are respectively at bytes 4 and 5 and bytes 6 and 7.

If you have kids around age 5-18 you will never forget where the sequence number is.

想說第四台 cable modem 的網路 latency 已經兩個禮拜都飄到爆炸了 (圖是 1.1.1.1 的 icmp ping latency)，觀察發現是從 modem 出去就在飄了，剛剛才想到重開 modem 看看，結果馬上就好了...

看起來之後應該得定時物理重開...
