Songvakeppnin was the first NF I ever attended in person. I went back to see Hatari win. Very sad to see this stalwart of Eurovision not participating this year but praise should go to RUV for making this decision.

Iceland is tricky- sometimes they have something that wows right away (Hatari, Dadi Freyr) and I don’t think they have that this year. They’ve also get a few that sorta bloom between Songvakeppnin and May (Systur) I think they might have a couple of those in the mix
