Got about 8 solid hours of sleep and was woken by Sven (who else!!) around 4:30am. Both kitties demanded breakfast right then. Fig had a really good appetite and let me love on him extensively too.

Fig has a voracious appetite today. I use a variety of foods to help keep his interest, but Purina kitten chow kibble is the most consistent hit. I brought home a bag of Meow Mix kitten kibble and he’s mad for it.

Fig has a voracious appetite today. I use a variety of foods to help keep his interest, but Purina kitten chow kibble is the most consistent hit. I brought home a bag of Meow Mix kitten kibble and he’s mad for it.

Fig was curled up in his bed, so I just picked up the whole cat bed like he was a taco and cradled him.
My bed was the easiest place to do fluids because my headboard is tall, sturdy, and (apparently) perfect for hanging fluid bags.

Divided a can of Friskies pâté between them, then poured a packet of Delectables Bisque over Fig’s half. He is very happy with that offering. It’s 2:30pm and this is the first thing he’s eaten today apart from a few nibbles of kitten chow early this morning.

Just weighed Fig in the carrier. Exactly 18 pounds. The carrier isn’t heavy enough to register on the bathroom scale on its own. Maybe a pound at most?? Fig was 14.3 pounds at the vet on 10/20.
Even if carrier is 2 or 3 pounds, Fig has GAINED weight!!

Still doing unexpectedly well. Still jaundiced. Weight is holding steady around 13.5 pounds. His shoulders, hips, spine, and cheeks are palpably sharp.
No signs of pain or distress.
Appetite has become more consistent. Normal energy.
Cuddly and cheerful 🥰
