Since sometimes you don't know why an enemy repeats turns so many times, battles now show the number of extra turns enemies have, in the lower right corner.

Last #gbadev / #gamedev post for the night, I swear.

I'm just excited about getting this running fast and effectively. This runs 60fps with no issues! That's crazy!

Division is EXPENSIVE on ARM7TDMI. I used a lot of bit shifts instead of division, and bitwise &s instead of moduli

The #gba has only 16kb of IWRAM, and I was filling up half of that with map data and it stack overflowed 😅 probably could have guessed that sooner...

it has an EXCELLENT indexed color mode for #gbdev, #gbadev, #nesdev, etc
ATTENTION ARTISTS AND ANY ASPIRING PIXEL ARTISTS!!!

Aseprite is on sale on Steam!! It's a Pixel art program for art/animating and I highly recommend! (I have almost 700 hours in it!) It's $13 and a one time payment for an excellent program!!
