In the UK contact with guns is minimal we see armed police but rarely, theyre almost always exforces highly trained, disciplined & quite lethal.
As to my own experience my father worked for the navy & we had unlimited access on Forces days so I've fired everything from an SLR to a Bofors.

I'm only saying what i saw.The vast majority exforces or failed police officers & they were nasty bastards. I never saw violence though it was spoken of. I heard many guards take the piss or laugh at how certain inmates would cry themselves to sleep-i thought it was normal as i didnt know otherwise

ExForces conservatives really get me. they think they have some kind of monopoly on national pride
