I have start watching this anime and it was so good that i have to binge watching every one until the end. I can’t believe that i didn’t watch this sooner and realized how amazing this series was and emotional it became for the story and characters.. 🥲

Huge square quilt with flower baskets each made of hundreds of tiny squares Grace Snyder 1882 - 1982; resided North Platte, NE Flower Basket Petit Point Quilt 1942-43 Growing up in the Nebraska Sandhills, Grace Snyder learned to quilt at the age of six to keep herself occupied during long days of watching cattle. While raising four children on a ranch, she stil found time to enter her quilts in state fairs. In 1944, this quilt won the Sweepstakes Award (Best in Show) at the Nebraska State Fair, earning a prize of $2.50. This work is one of the best-known American quilts. By plecing together approximately eighty-seven thousand tiny triangles, Snyder created the itusion of needlepoint on a pieced quilt. She adapted the pattern from a porcelain design produced by the Salem China Company in Ohio (lustrated), which itself imitates the petit point embroidery technique. Around the border are woven farm animals Alice Ray Diné (Navajo) born 1903-1977; resided Lukachukai, AZ Tree of Life 1962 wool with natural and aniline dye Alice Ray was a weaver, farmer, and mother in Arizona. Using wool spun from sheep that she raised and sheared herself, Ray created textiles whose sale would support her family and the farm. The tree of life became a popular motif in Diné (Navajo) textiles in the late 1800s. Premier tome du light novel de Eighty Six fini.

J'ai une légère préférence pour l'adaptation animé qui arrive à donner plus de poids aux personnages tertiaires et aux drames, mais j'ai encore eu une fois larme à l’œil quand la conclusion est arrivée. Un récit hybride de guerre et de mecha.

9/10 - It's pretty rare nowadays for a 24 episodes anime to have good pacing and good writing in general. I think asp the ending was looking pretty predictable but it was still done well enough to be satisfying.

In the early morning hours of July 23, Detroit police officers raided a blind pig, an illegal after-hours bar, where patrons were celebrating the return of Vietnam War servicemen. Located at Clairmount Avenue and Twelfth Street (later Rosa Parks Boulevard), the bar was within a mostly African-American business district that had an active nightlife. While the police arrested all eighty-five people inside, a crowd formed outside. Reacting to the arrests, a few people threw rocks and bottles at the police. By eight a.m., the crowd had grown to an estimated 3,000 people, and arson and looting were underway. Mayor Jerome Cavanagh and Governor George Romney agreed to deploy the Michigan National Guard that afternoon. Federal Army troops joined the guard thirty-six hours later. In response to the conflicts in Detroit and throughout the United States, President Lyndon B. Johnson created the Kerner Commission to investigate the causes of the violence. It concluded that although the specific episodes of violence were spontaneous, they were in response to poverty, segregation, racism, unemployment, "frustrations of powerlessness" and police actions that enforced a double standard for how people of different races were treated.
