Falling for Demons book 4 is coming out this week! I really threw caution to the hounds and dove into the spicy end of the pond with this one. But it's also a sugary sweet story with my favorite kind of leads: a bubbly babbler and a secretly lovesick grump

One of my favorite underrated fantasy rom-com gems is Throne in the Dark by @akcaggiano.bsky.social There's a satirical, punny humor to reminds me of Pratchett, and grumpy / sunshine s-l-o-w burn romance that is very hot.

Good thing Brioni isn’t a demon because she wants to be dealt with—in fact, she insists. Brioni is sugary sweet and endlessly frustrating—everything Ragnar is looking for in a mate. She needles him and causes mischief, and Ragnar can’t seem to get enough of her brattiness, but he also can’t wrap his tail around the fact that her teasing is genuine evidence of infatuation. Their attraction is instantaneous, and Ragnar would like to give her the punitive satisfaction she keeps hinting at, but at what cost? Will she continue to visit his reclusive corner of the woods after she gets what she wants? Will she know she has a choice once he gives in to his own possessive and domineering desires? Ragnar would rather give her the friendship he also knows she craves than ruin everything by indulging in the monster he believes he is. Brioni, however, is determined to win Ragnar’s heart…and every other part of him, horns included. Because Ragnar lives by one rule: trespassers will be punished.
