Just a glint of the emerald green showing on this ruby-throated hummingbird's head and back. She has turned herself into a #hummingborb in the 37F degree weather this morning. Not the best pic thru my #DirtyKitchenWindow™️ but it does capture the bird's borbiness and enfloofenation. 🪶

Thanks! Any pics you see on the red and white feeder like that are taken by the camera in the bird buddy. I've been pleased w/ quite a few of its shots. My other pics are generally taken by me thru the #DirtyKitchenWindow™️ filter. A few are taken outside tho, when I haven't scared the birds off. Lol

No one who follows me will be surprised by this, but we have a boatload of cardinals living in our backyard, so I have a lot of opportunities for pictures of them thru our bird buddy camera as well as thru our #dirtykitchenwindow™️ with our old Canon camera. I shot these with the Canon yesterday. 🪶

I'm so excited. This sweetie was flying in/out & standing on top of our backyard nest box. I tried to catch a pic atop the nesting box thru the #DirtyKitchenWindow™️ but the camellia was in the way. Fingers crossed for a nesting pair of bluebirds. Last year, the chickadees took over the box.

This Carolina chickadee will be known from this time forward as "The Interloper" after he moved into the Eastern bluebird birdhouse. Also, he is really good at staring you down for a long time if you venture out into the yard.😂🪶

Uncle Fester visited the feeder cup today and I was able to get a few shots of him. Looks like a couple of feathers on his head might be trying to come back in while several other feathers look like they are on their way out.

I was able to get a couple of snaps of this female northern cardinal today. 🪶 #DirtyKitchenWindow™️

We've seen butter butts & a couple of rose breasted grosbeaks, but haven't been able to get good pics of them yet. I've probably missed the chance to get the grosbeaks as they are just flying through.

My neighbor's new 6' white vinyl fence has ruined my #DirtyKitchenWindow™️ pictures of birds at my feeder. So much morning light is bouncing off in the background. Ugh. I didn't realize how much light the old wooden fence absorbed.
