A borb with fabulous eyebrows for #Wrensday

Ha! He's a tricky little hawk trying to lull the other birds into a false sense of security. 😂
Well, if the neighbors didn't know he was there, they do now. lol.
It's not too late for you, is it? We can plant through mid-October. With all the warm weather we've been having, I think we'll be fine with planting this weekend. We had to wait a little longer to plant due to the fact that we started solarizing the soil a little late.

My home state once had a Governor's race devolve into whether or not the candidates could bring their own fan and use it during a debate. There's no bar too low.
Wow. How exciting! I have a lot of gulf fritillaries and clouded sulphurs, but haven't seen many monarchs this year. Maybe the wildflower garden I'm getting ready to plant will change that.
Hmmm...I don't recall hearing/reading you complain about the lack of monarchs. 😂 Joking aside, that IS pretty cool to have 5 of them together like that.
Cute! Love the teal nails idea.
I may or may not have snort laughed at that. 😉
#WaterfallWednesday The trail to Hemlock Falls is an easy (and beautiful) forested hike. Downstream of these falls is where I captured my first (and only) good picture of a kingfisher last fall. #Birds 🪶

I'm not too familiar with Canadian species of birds, but it looks like a Canada jay, also known as a gray jay. Maybe some of my Canadian birder friends can tell you for sure. @saskajanet.bsky.social @secondnaturemb.bsky.social Is it a Canada jay?

Tough, but precious at the same time.
A beautiful series of photos, Gwen. They're such sweet birds. I enjoy watching my family of them at the feeder.
Jealous guarders of the keep. It's entertaining for sure.

The king of complaining strikes again. 😂
Oh...what a beautiful combination for #TuesJay.
