#Compensating
Coping mechanisms is a great way of thinking about it. I think those grandiose introductions are often a way of compensating for anxiety about writing

Actually every single of them is seriously over-compensating 24/7

I have to be honest if i ever found out a gaming company used my art or ideas as reference without compensating and crediting me whatsoever ESPECIALLY if it was some regurgitating of those ideas in an ai program i would blow a building up.

So I think it’s a case of (a) people compensating for their lack of social skills by getting hyperfocused on their art (b) them letting their lack of social skills frustrate them so deeply it turns them into bitter and abusive assholes (c) a lot of control issues are externalized internal chaos

Thank you for the correction and my apologies for doubting your memory structures. I look forward to a future ai companion compensating for my biological degradation.

Off the top of my head:
- beloved piece of junk
- bastard piece of junk
- compensating for something
- old warhorse
- expensive but worth every credit
- just expensive
- good for only one thing
- mass-produced soulless machine
- somebody had a “good” idea
- released too late to be useful
Hey, hypothetical but if you were trying to think of some fun categories for descriptors of space ships what would you have? 👀😅

I'm worried about _you_ having a gun, compensating _your_ small penis as that's all you seem to be doing around some fairly reasonable people considering changes to surburbanite gun ownership

(2) Democrats are in the minority in Congress; nobody is going to pass this right now. Fine! The point of talking about legislation right now in 2025-26 is to clarify where everyone stands.

Are you in favor of ICE detaining U.S. citizens?

If not, would you support a law compensating them?

it could be like numerous things tbh (chaser shit, compensating, etc) but none of it is good
December 16, 2025 at 11:29 PM

I wish there were something for installing new anti-theft features (on a recall basis) and/or compensating us for years of much higher insurance premiums because of these thefts.

But thanks for what you've done.

You let a small minded, greedy, over-compensating, narcissistic, sociopathic, ignoramus crook into the highest position of the land. And have the nerve to clutch your pearls when he behaves in the manner that he is!? Save the indignation! Get him out of office or GTFOH!

Why does that little fucking dweeb Bovino need a scope like that? Surely he isn’t compensating right? Dude you aren’t going into fucking combat you pathetic piece of shit. And seriously this clown isn’t even getting out of his car unless he’s got protection of at least 8 other dudes. So pathetic.
Bovino really is such a jackass look at the scope he’s sporting

Of course you any manager can choose a mostly short, long or mixed build up tactic, but you have a problem when none of these methods is working coherently and rather than strengths compensating for vulnerabilities, all you have is vulnerabilities multiplying.

People's safety is a higher priority than creditors' balance sheets. Rad's filing lists $32.1 million in assets. Compensating customers who were sold unsafe batteries needs to come first, then the creditors can recover what's left.

Hope you guys will be compensating all the artists you will be stealing from to generate your ai slop.
December 16, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Last thing I’ll say on the matter: Considering AAA games retail around and above 70 USD nowadays it’s laughably insulting to expect someone to want to pay that much for content that’s been generated. If I’m paying these rates I want it compensating human labor

Always compensating with the long gun.
He’s a caricature of himself.
Tiny helmet. Tiny hands.
Standing on a street corner in Little Village with a gun held to his chest, surrounded by residents blowing whistles, Gregory Bovino ignored a man who asked for a “rational conversation.”

“Alright guys. Merry Christmas if I don’t see you again,” Bovino said, walking. Video @ckubzansky.bsky.social

Really think he's compensating.
December 16, 2025 at 6:59 PM
Do you suppose he's compensating for some, uh, shortcomings, @ablativmeatshld.bsky.social
Bovino really is such a jackass look at the scope he’s sporting
