Floods are becoming more frequent.

Clydach Terrace was flooded during Storms Dennis & Bert.

Now 16 homes will be demolished because defences were not built in time.

Successive Govts have not invested in preparing for climate change.

Climate inaction has real consequences.
Flood-prone Ynysybwl homes may be bought and bulldozed by council
People on a street at risk of flooding will discover whether their homes are to be demolished.

Our first community litter pick of 2026 in Clydach, Swansea was well attended, with 20 bags collected.

Award for 'bizarre item of litter of the day' went to four unopened boxes of Ann Summers lingerie. An unwanted Christmas present? Maybe someone's Christmas Day didn't quite go to plan?!

I'm back blogging again. I have had a very busy first half of the year, so I have not had quite enough spare time to write. This story goes as far back as June, when my good friend and I had a good day out in Clydach and the Blorenge. #birdingwales www.thewildlifeoculus.com/2025/08/clyd...

Agreed. Saw this with the Clydach murders. Morris was tried twice. Unanimous guilty verdicts both times. And people still insisted he was innocent. Wtf is wrong with people!

My front page story for Thursday’s South Wales Evening Post - A man has gone on trial accused of murdering his neighbour in Clydach. Brian Whitelock denies murder but admits the manslaughter of Wendy Buckney on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
