I think AFS are marked to market, with changes flowing through OCI, and impacting Equity. It's only the HTM that are held at purchase value.
But yeah, if there's a run, expect a bazooka backstop because that's all .gov seems to know how to do.

Bred already in 1962, ‘Hawkshead’ was only registered with the AFS by James Travis of the UK in 1973. The name is a nod to the Village of Hawkshead in the Cumbrian Lake District. 3/5

Jag kopplar intimt samman den växande fascismen i Europa med Rysslands närvaro. Skulle nu Ryssland att kollapsa skulle också mattan ryckas undan för Fico, Orban, AFS, Åkesson m.fl., dessa högerpopulister lever risigt till utan stödet från öst.
