Supertrick made a post to basically pretend to have transparency about how GenAI was used in Let it Die Inferno's development, saying it was just used as a tool.

People found quite a few textures that look like barely modified, if at all, GenAI art.

Cygames EN posted a statement on the formation of the Cygames AI Studio and it really feels empty-handed. They claim they will notify players when they do eventually use GenAI in their products but do not mention if they will use it at a conceptual level. The easiest solution is DON’T USE IT AT ALL!

I vibe coded a game in Claude Opus 4.5. It is neither perfect nor a one shot. This took about 4 hours or so. The image is from Nano Banana and yes, that's my old Saab 900s from my LA days. The game is meant to evoke a video game on a PC or Mac in 1991.

Not sure how I feel about this. Mostly conflicted due to how poorly AI has been utilised. The promise from Ubisoft here (that the usage of AI will have a human foundation), could be fluff. We'll wait and see I suppose?
