I just finished the #ADBook 💙📚 The Black Wolf by Louise Penny-another great Inspector Gamache Mystery. In the beginning the author says she wrote the book in summer of 2024 and submitted it in Sept 2024 and didn’t know what would happen early 2025.

My #ADBook I loved this week is Hemlock&Silver by T. Kingfisher. A Snow White twisted retelling that is told from the perspective of a poison and cure obsessed healer that the king recruits to cure Snow. 📚💙 #FantasyBook I have loved every book from this author.

I don’t see any of my friends faces so Facebook might as well change the name to AdBook

People talk shit about how horrible twitter is but not enough about FaceBook. Or should I call it AdBook. I member back when you could look at that fucking piece of shit website with no ads. In fact, I swear there was a time when people would advertise on their own. Now all brands advertise there.

Disable Facebook. That way you do nto even see the ads so he makes even less money. You can still use messenger that way. It is how I did it.
It is more adbook than facebook anyway. Ads with content from two weeks ago in between.

Deleted the Adbook...I mean Facebook app from my phone.
It's a useless app unless you love ads or need to find out what that one weird M&ga uncle is spewing.
Next month I delete Twixxer from my phone.
That will be the hardest thing to do.
Been there since April 2008.

It should no longer be called it should be Adbook and you may get to see what some of your friends are up to as well .

On Facebook I very rarely see friends posts anymore. It’s either groups I follow or ads. Facebook started out as a place to socialize, catch up and share. Now it’s one giant television ad. Not even worth the time anymore. I hope BlueSky stays true to its origin.

They should rename it Adbook.
