The war in Gaza may be over, but the repercussions for the state of Israel have just begun. Reporters from the Western world, including the United States, will flood into the occupied territory.

Israel’s Prime Minister and former Defense Minister are wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity — including using starvation as a weapon of war and deliberately directing attacks on civilians.

Israel has been found to have committed genocide in Gaza by a vast majority of genocide scholars, by Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, several Israeli NGOs, and the UN Commission of Inquiry, the UN’s top investigative body.

And then there’s Jared Kushner — the man now leading the work on shaping Trump’s post-ceasefire Gaza policy: Aaron Rupar via X (@atrupar): "Jared Kushner in Tel Aviv: 'Instead of replicating the barbarism of the enemy, you chose to be exceptional, you chose to stand for the values that you stand for, and I couldn't be prouder to be a friend of Israel.'"
