I've just been informed that the tech is also used in those standup Lime etc scooters, and now I have a better understanding of why I wound up in an ER in Lisbon last summer.

Oh wait seriously is *that* why my scooter jackknifed and threw me off last summer?! After I got my teeth fixed and the breaks in my hand and wrist healed, I was thinking, Hey, at least it wasn't a Segway or I'd have been dead...

I definitely was not appreciating the full significance of manneken pis! I only really know about it because in Amsterdam there’s a frites stand called Manneken Pis so I at least did figure out why a place that sells fries has a logo of a kid peeing but yeah so much more to learn!
