Using a #Metagenomics approach, this @ZoonosesJ identified and genetically characterized a novel #Calicivirus – CV-HMU-1 – a new member of the Salovirus genus of the Caliciviridae family, in swab samples of walruses (Odobenus rosmarus) with diarrhea.
