Trump corruption just made it harder to switch phones between wireless carriers, a huge gift to shitty, predatory telecoms that hate competition.

The regime shot Renee Nicole Good and then labeled her a domestic terrorist.

But they didn’t do it because they’re strong — they did it because they’re weak and scared.

Powell standing up to Trump is the same thing as the Minneapolis residents standing up to ICE - both rely on the realization that all of their power flows out of their ability to make you afraid, and you don’t have to be, and then they have barely any power over you anymore.

RAHH I finally got VPN split tunneling working on Fedora 43 w/ OpenVPN. One more weird edge is fixed. My experience more closely mirrors my Windows install closer than ever.

There has to be trials; but I want a clearinghouse to run a blacklist of these people. I do not want them hired, I do not want them with access to school systems or government resources. They need to be HAMMERED. Never a moment's peace.

My books are my survival. I don’t have any other job, safety net, family to fall back on. This is it, my best effort poured into my writing, and often what comes back is just enough to keep me moving to the next thing. When you buy my books, tell a friend, as for them at a library, it keeps me going

I am back to blogging again. I am treating it like a centralized place to write longer than usual social media posts, so that I can outlink them anywhere.

My latest topic: Fedora as daily driver, first impressions

Got some participatory liberal democracy down here.

For me, the biggest bullet point of these protests has been the explicitly pro liberal democracy aesthetics and the near total absence of critical aesthetics from the far-progressive side.

It is, as a form of communication, objectively effective.

one of the reasons they're so mad at "no kings" is that they thought they were going to get a different kind of protest. they *want* the black bloc to be out there fighting with the cops. those are the images they've been trying to generate from "go." instead--

As Trump allies smear the coming protests, a good writer on MAGA skewers the absurdity of these attacks on large swaths of Americans—and explains why our best recourse will be to turn out in force.
