While I sympathize, this is wrong. If you’re bad at a thing you like, you have the most surface area left to explore through the journey of improvement, so in every way that truly matters, “being dogshit” at anything is its own form of wealth. You just need a more positive perspective to see it.

Also really important to remember it's about more than just the trans stuff. Look at how she treated 35yo Emma Watson like a child for Emma's *incredibly tame* comments, or how she went off on asexuals this summer. JKR wields her tremendous power like a weapon against anyone she disagrees with.
She sees your fandom as affirmation, your money as funding for the harm she causes to trans people.
