I think, therefore, I review.
I think the core reason why people get defensive over negative reviews is because they are essentially saying, "this isn't worth your time/shouldn't be passed on."

Positive reviews are a plea for future generations to carry this THING onward.

We want people to experience the feelings we did.

Zootopia, but with Metal Gear inspired animal names.

Big Mole, Revolver Rabbit, Punished Fox, Horse Man-Horse, S.N.A.K.E (Soldiers' Natural Ally Keeps Evolving)
Hideo Kojima has been cast as Paul Moldebrandt in the Japanese version of 'Zootopia 2'

It's his first voice acting role in an animated film

The most worrisome thing about "Midsummer" (2019) is that certain women IRL want a sense of community/belonging so badly, that they view a narrative about a women being indoctrinated into a rape/murder cult as an empowerment narrative.

It's the female equivalent of guys who idolize Patrick Bateman.

For me dog, it's gotta be

Bloodborne,
Dark Souls 1,
Dark Souls 2 / Elden Ring,

Dark Souls 3,
Demon's Souls.

I am thankful that the old toad designs from the Paper Mario games exist.

They're so full of whimsy and individualistic personalities.

Sure it sucks that we're stuck with basic-ass toads now, but I'm glad these were made at all.

Really demonstrates what we could have again...maybe one day...

It will always be amusing to me how the Hazbin Hotel fandom was aghast that a pimp living in Hell would be a highly repellent/abusive person.

I understand the whole "SA is triggering" critique...but surely Hell would be nothing but triggers, no?

It's a world where the dog dies in EVERY movie.

I looove when I can refer to a person as "they" because I once got dinged for using "they" as singular in a graduate essay.

The assignment got a 97/100 and a note about how "they" is only ever used in a plural sense.

Oh, how vindicating non-binary personal pronouns have become.

100/100, biiiitch.

I am constantly being torn between two desires:

To share my thoughts about video production, and the struggles therein, OR to say nothing and act as the mysterious creator that just presents completed content suddenly---without commenting on the process.

Fear of over-sharing vs. Uneasy isolation.

The CIA wouldn't be able to drive me nuts with "Baby Shark" on a loop because I just willingly listened to "Gone Guru" for 3 hours while script writing.

A fat cup of piss, indeed.

Shakespeare is the standard author of study almost 500 years later. We're still doing re-tellings of Greek Mythology and The Epic of Gilgamesh.

Yet I'm supposed to believe that Banjo Kazooie is an old game? Okay.

I can no longer endure content that makes me doubt my senses.

"Things you missed," "Things you never knew," "Hidden messages they didn't want you to see," "I'll bet you missed," etc.

I am now viscerally unengaged by this style of bait.

They make life into a never-ending quiz and it's exhausting.

A friend of mine has been love-bombing the crap out of their partner for months, to a degree that's starting to worry me

They've been in abusive relationships before and it's difficult to tell if they're just appreciative or are trying to over compensate for bumps in the road

Concerning to watch

There's a certain kind of person who runs outside when it rains, with the thinnest of coats and no umbrella, to relish in the dreary weather---soaking themselves to the core, like a worm drawn inexorably to the surface.

I am that worm.

I'm no prude but I do wish there was an option to hide when a friend on Steam buys a sex game

It's perfectly fine that "Bunny Girls With Huge Feet for Foot Freaks, The RPG" or whatever exists, but I don't want to know that 3 of my friends bought it (even worse, when you get the "Now Playing" alert)

My new go-to answer for "Superpowers with a catch" type conversations:

Super strength, but only when you're wiping your butt.

Whenever I get a "You're not as good as (blank)" or "(Blank) wouldn't say that 😒" comment on a video, I think of this moment from Deep Space Nine.

I am me.

So in "Groundhog Day," Phil escapes the loop by living a perfect, selfless day

My headcanon is that the loop now applies for EVERY day onward

From now on, he must accomplish specific altruistic goals to advance a day, exponentially increasing his original problem

Forced to live "the perfect life"

Feels like "[this thing] can be seen from space!" isn't that impressive of a statement anymore.

We've got satellites with enough zoom resolution to see small details in your backyard.

Everything can be seen from space.

Watched "Men" (2022) this morning and was pleasantly surprised.

It was goopy, tense, cerebral, and visually striking (on both pleasant and unpleasant levels).

It's one of those highly personal and symbolic stories that really draws you in.

Really compelling stuff!

Uma Musume: Pretty Derby is a thinly veiled attempt to normalize gambling through gooners, femcels, lore lords, and cosplayers

I don't care how big those anime horse tits are OR how historied the lore is, you'll never get a cent from me

Oh this one horse never won a single race in her career? Good

Been thinkin about Iceberg videos and how they can easily frame silly fan-theories as common community ideas

Just sprinkle them in the deep parts of the iceberg and say any ol' bullshit you want

"Level 6: The Trenches. SOME people believe that the characters of Bluey represent the 7 deadly sins 😱"

I decided to take a break from Age of Empires 2 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Now I can start posting on this app again. 🌌💀

Already seeing people say stuff like, "you can't blame Trump for everything bad in America 😒"

Bitch, I spent four years hearing "what do you expect in Joe Biden's America 😂🤣" constantly

They claimed that Dems controlled THE WEATHER, if someone even just farts near me, I'm blaming Trump.

I'd like this to stand as my general rebuttle to the "Santa Anna's Leg" episode of King of the Hill and why America still owning the leg is in really poor taste.

I feel like the phrase "crashout" should have been "cashout" instead.

The phrase is intended to mean that you've lost it, or gone nuts, so I think it would make more sense if it were linked to when you "cash out" at a casino.

You're taking the chips and leaving, the game is over, you're done.
