It introduced a lot of new people to CicLAvia, which I applaud.
But, I worry that it will become an excuse by elected officials to not fund future open streets events.
We can't allow open streets to become like bus shelters, built only where advertisers can find the wealthy

because the LA city budget cut funding for the few public restrooms we have, North Hollywood station now has a throne and it's so nice
