Not uncommon. I'm disabled, and a while back I tried going to a restaurant, but a cop car pig parked and took up both disabled parking spots. I just left.

2 questions:
Am I reading correctly this plans to move the bike lanes to the other side of School St.?

And is there a possibility to keep the curb next to the bike lanes roughly where it is, but add a wider buffer between the bike lanes and traffic lane at the crosswalk (for waiting to cross/turn)?

This is so exciting to see progress on!! I would have settled for an aligned curb ramp, but a narrowed (and possibly raised) crossing is even better!!

But can I give big honorable mentions to this year's newest sidewalk bump-outs to preserve larger trees and “floating”/“peninsula” bus stops?

Hard to pick just one, but I think the Washington St. project prompted the biggest change in my habits—from going out of my way to avoid biking on some parts to getting excited when my route could take me on the new bike lanes! Looking forward to the West Broadway project doing the same next year.

One of the themes of our new police state is the sheer lack of professionalism. They can't do the basics, and when challenged, double down. A dysfunctional organizational culture deeply suspicious of the society they are tasked with controlling.

They misidentified the intern. The judge told them they had misidentified the intern. But instead of double checking, they took that as an affront to their authority. So they surrounded the judge's car and threatened to smash the windows to get to the intern.

They had misidentified the intern.
The part where they threatened to break a judge’s car windows should be a bigger story … they feel comfortable treating judges this way, which means they are being told that they can do literally anything to nearly everyone
