Doing some more art tonight, still painting my doc martens and going through old family photos which I'm posting.

Dad, Chantelle and I sitting with our old black lab Nightmare. Best hunting dog ever. People would come to our house asking to bring her to go hunting. Every time fireworks would go off she'd jump up and start going nuts. She wasn't afraid, she was excited cause she thought she was going to track down geese and ducks. It was hilarious. My dad and Pepe. If there's a photo that can describe how wonky and goofy I am and how I got this way.... well this is the photo. My Pepe was a hard man, went through the great depression and had a crazy life, but he was also full of love, joy and kindness. He'd save even the tiniest creature, even if it bit, stung or attacked him. He'd just laugh and say I could hurt it more then it could ever hurt me, but it's just afraid. Why hurt it when it's just being how it is. If a wasp was trapped he'd grab it by a wing gently, even as it stung him he'd laugh and then bring it to a door or window and let it go so it could be free and live. He'd go for days to visit family and bring his fiddle and they'd party going house to house singing old french songs and telling stories. I remember when he'd shave with a straight razor and cut himself and laugh while looking at me and stick out his tongue. I think it rubbed off on me way to much, but I wouldn't have it any other way looking back at it now. I miss sitting with him, Uncle Frank and Uncle Leger and watching them play euchre and giving me caps filled with beer and laugh when I'd drink it cause of the faces I'd make. A hard man with an equally soft heart. Even to this day my sister is still trying to get me to shut up.... didn't work then and it doesn't work now. Baba and Grandpa John. When they say opposites attract.... yeah they do sometimes and I'm glad it did for them.

I grew up loving and repeatedly watching Die Hard 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4, Cliffhanger and Deep Blue Sea.

Well I went through some old photos and they are old ones. Non of these are taken by me, but these are my family so it's all good.
My grandma *Baba* on the right and her two sisters. God I miss them. They were a ball. I always loved when they gave me cherry whiskey and had me sit on their laps while they talked and played euchre. Aunt Bertha on the left. She's on the left in the first photo as well. Uncle Phil in the center and I still got the corn cob pipe he gave me as a kid. That guy was hilarious. Baba on the right. Family get together. Good times. My Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy's wedding and photo's from when my uncle was in Britain's Black Sheep. That one photo in the bottom center. Gold.
