5 months after LEGO Fortnite claimed Clyde was "in shop", #Fortnite announced Clyde would be tied to an expensive Backbone purchase. Until he's available for a reasonable direct purchase and/or a public event, he's not really released. Aww, flark it, this is #ClydeWatch Day 180!

It's #ClydeWatch Day 176! Many thought Clyde was saved for this season because he fit the theme. But, if that were the case, I imagine he'd have been included in promotional material when said theme was introduced - trailers, artwork, something. No Clyde. #Fortnite #Raccoon
On June 7th, following the Death Star event, Clyde was added to #Fortnite files. In early July, the official LEGO Fortnite account announced he was in shop and later deleted the announcement. Many opportunities since to release him and nothing but a small video cameo.
