It is absolutely fascinating that there are more numbered mainline Final Fantasy playable on Xbox than PS5.

I mean is it really saved if, as the article says, it's been "completely redesigned" and "has nothing to do with the previous game"? Id say it's more accurate to say his studio was saved than the game was

Glad to hear it! I can see getting attached to the old crew, Kiryus hard to beat after all and he gets some terrific moments here. The bucket list was an inspired idea imo

On the game itself, the previous one was impressive for a first attempt at a turn based rpg, but this was a massive improvement

Luckily I wasn't waiting, I was just playing a buuunch of other games.

Then it came out and I enjoyed it.
Was glad that it was a focused title and not bloated with "Well before you can progress the story, you have to go do 9 billion side missions"-stuff as well

Thoughts?

If something like, aggressively doesn't interest me I'll drop it after 1, but lately I seem to be hovering around 5 eps. Dropped both Spy x Family and Mob Psycho 100 after 5 eps. I didn't hate them, but they just didn't really hook me

Well my top games of this year would also include Silksong, DK, and Split Fiction, all of which were played on other platforms, so I feel ya lol

I also got quite a lot out of this year

When your off year is nearly double my year lol

Not to worry tho, PS will be carrying more weight next year

I played FF9 for the first time this year, but on Xbox and definitely under 90 hours lol
