Give up the idea of the "correct" way to do things, especially with style choices
There's not actually correct style choices or methods that are inherently better
Everyone ends up doing things differently regardless, what works for you will be found easier if you chase it a little less

people need to realise that if you want fandom and art spaces to thrive, and if you want to make friends in these spaces - you need to hype each other up! not just expect a pat on the back for your own work, you gotta encourage others, even if it's not a fandom or content you like!

If you're doing art for pay, learn how to craft an invoice. And within that, understand the importance of having well constructed terms and conditions of use, including licensing options. When you're evaluating your rates, understand that you want them to help you grow, not just statically produce.
