I’m afraid the rose bush did not survive an aggressive “pruning” a month later. Don’t let “friends” help you with gardening.
I was surprised to get a rose that looked this good in August; they usually have only 5 petals and burn up immediately. These roses were red earlier in the year.

That’s right, while you struggle with mortgage/rent payments, your tax dollars are used to provide homes for your oppressors.

That’s right, while you struggle with mortgage/rent payments, your tax dollars are used to provide homes for your oppressors.
No SNAP means more mortgage defaults, more auto repossessions… and an end to discretionary spending. it’s hard to think of another way to damage the economy so badly.
As someone who has been on SNAP benefits in the past, what will happen Nov. 1 is that people will start diverting other funds towards groceries. They will choose to feed their families over making credit card payments, paying medical bills, car payments, etc. This is going to affect a lot of things.
