Went to the park on Saturday to play some badminton.
In the tree next to us, a little tauhou/waxeye came to say hello. They seemed very interested in me (maybe the colours on my mask); it replied to me when I spoke to it, and it got closer, and closer, tilting its head to get a good look. Magical!

Here's my current one - I think that this is one that was given to me when a colleague left, and it flowered once, since I started working from home, I think 🤔

This is interesting 🤔 I need more context: are they "just getting by" because they have a $4m mortgage, and so their $100k would probably not be enough to get by.
If they're renting a place like ours, or maybe have a home freehold, $100k is wealthy.

Thanks Duolingo... wtf‽ How am I supposed to learn things if you put underscores instead of words, with no way to make them appear? There's also a section with little volume icons which one would assume means you can listen to pronunciation: nope, just for decoration 😒

It upsets me when a local cat is missing, then I realise that they're just allowed to ~roam~.
It's nice that cats come back for food and attention, but also maybe they want to stay out longer? 😂

But seriously~ for the safety of your cat, and for our precious fauna - please keep cats as inside pets!
