The only problem when looking at US with an EM hat is that one cannot help but think "economics drive politics" and that the only way the buffoon and his clowns are kicked out is to get a collapse in the narratives that keep him alive - a.k.a. AI, Crypto and leftovers of US exceptionalism...

positive impact for RU is only equal to the difference between price at which it would be selling energy to non EU vs EU so probably a fraction of this - say 20% ? And EU would pay more on energy bill so have less $ to give to Ukraine otherwise l. And Russia - so far- a cash rich to fund war anyway
