I’m a big ESG nerd. ❤️ ⚡️🚗, 🪴, 🐕, and anything that helps folks live a more sustainable life. Let's focus on what we can do, today, to mitigate climate change!

I've spent 4 decades on 🌏, and the better part of 3 driving 🚗🔋⚡️. Lets help folks upgrade
My Niro HEV, bought first month on sale, was flawless. Sold it and bought an IONIQ 5, both my first cars from either brand from a history of Audi/Porsche/VW. Can’t say enough good things! Love being able to buy a globally competitive EV made in U.S. with very high U.S./CAN parts!

Gotcha, if your home has electricity it shouldn’t be an issue. EVs can preheat via the charging cable, both battery and cabin. Love always walking out to a perfect temperature vehicle before I hop in!

EV consumers aren’t. It’s odd. 🤷🏼

Right? It’s odd how the things that make Tesla worse, endear them to these contributors.

It’s mostly market focus, 1/3 of EVs are sold in California and Hyundai prioritizes that market. Kia is more national with allocation, plus Hyundai has better lease deals, more utilitarian interior.

Do you think there’s a market there, starting at $AU80k base?

Dunno, just focusing on what I can advocate for and volunteer for at a state and local level, happy to help get more of affordable housing options built, not gunna let maga hold us back!!

That’s my reaction whenever someone’s like “just wait for BYD!” - china’s Toyota? Nah, gimme a Zeekr!

Life’s better with an EV that gives GT3’s a bloody nose on the ring :p

And a little gnome doesn’t emerge from the ground to top you off for the next day each night. That’s one of the biggest conveniences for EV owners that can change at home that we take for granted and don’t hype enough.

Every morning I wake up to more range than I’d use without planning a trip.

We live in a country where what ~5% cycle to work? ~50% have zero access to transit? Only one state is rapidly electrifying rail and building HSR? Are there studies showing folks totally abandoning ICE for transit and cycling in more meaningful AQ/GHG impact ways than adopting EV? The time is now!

Right! All my home’s needs and then overhead to sell back to stabilize the grid and reduce methane peaker plants? Sign me up!!

Tesla: expected.

Ford: Jeebus. -$13B on EVs since 2023, unable to bring any new models to the US market with $22B, about to DOUBLE the record for recalls, and they’re starting to sink in Europe? It’s not looking great.

And project their town or state being behind on infrastructure on the industry and market globally.

If you’re so concerned and think EVs won’t work in your specific municipality, maybe, instead of spreading EV FUD, wake up and get involved locally, and vote, for youe communities future!!

It’s why so many enjoying the benefits of EVs aren’t able to charge at home, 18-24 minutes once a week while grabbing coffee is so easy!
November 29, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Indeed, most EVs sold aren’t teslas now, wild to view them all through that lens, like saying all ICE cost more because Maserati.
