Mark Zak T Duck" 🦆 Crosby

Mostly silent protagonist. Regularly a bloke called Mark. Occasionally a duck called Zak. Full time currburr, part time IT person for a HR team and freelance scapegoat. Consistently inconsistent. Opinions definitely my own. He/They
Not entirely sure how to define this. An abomination? Inspired marketing? Salad cream with one of the training wheels removed? Further evidence that mayonnaise is proof of time travel?

Haven't seen one of these in the flesh in donkeys yonks, and at £10 I won't be getting it either.

For those who don't know what it is, it's a Tunis Cake, a Madeira cake based Christmas cake alternative that was apparently popular in the 70s and early 80s

BREAKING NEWS: Kane, enigmatic leader of the Brotherhood of Nod, has endorsed Andrew Cuomo.

Asked for comment he replied "He's an envoy sent by the Scrin Overlord. Once installed as overseer of New York they will commence Tiberium seeding in the Lower Manhattan area. If not, they'll do it anyway"

Games with unexpected ports:
Manic Miner, Game Boy Advance 2002 Jester Interactive

If you thought having a GBA port of Matthew Smith's 1983 Speccy classic was odd, how about when that port is itself adapted and enhanced from a GBA homebrew version put out a few years earlier?

Games with unexpected ports:

Sheep for the GBA

Sheep is a "herd-em up" puzzle game that originally came out on PC and PlayStation in 2000.

Sheep on the GBA came out a few years later with a few changes. Along with the original mode is an arranged mode allowing sheep and sheepdog to level up.

Reboot a 70s/80s kids TV show

The Herbs
More or less exactly the same but with all the characters replaced with either Class A-C substances and big pharma products.

I guess it's that time of year again. How many is it this time, 45?

Amongst the goodies from family include some ducklings for the collection and a custom matching shopping bag and t-shirt combo!

The first "computer" I ever played with was the Tomy Tutor Play Computer, does that count?
The first computer I got to actually use was a BBC Acorn Model B at primary school.
My first computer I owned was a 2nd hand ZX Spectrum+3 with a mountain of tapes and discs that I got for christmas one year.

Red Leicester Quavers - A review of sorts

Surprisingly not just cheese Quavers with a bit of orangey powder on them, a solid 4/5.

"Post a screenshot of your first 5 Steam purchases and let Bluesky judge you."

It's like the law or something that if you have a pre-2005 Steam account you've got Half-Life 1 and 2 on there. Throw in The Orange Box for good measure, and Audiosurf was quite rightly the poster child for indie games.
