Adding to my budget table are these dollar store trees I stuck into some air dry clay we had on hand, then painted the clay when it dried.

Sometimes you're absolutely miserable so you gotta learn if the misery is worth it to keep doing the thing. And it's ok if doing the thing isn't worth the misery. It's important to take care of yourself.

Would like to have a pretty version made by the end of the year, but I've gotten pretty busy, so we'll see.

They're also hardcover. I've not produced a hardcover book myself, but the costs are definitely much higher than a paperback perfect bound or stapled zine. Imo, the price seems within the realm of reasonable given what they are.
