Full Shonen. The song has some life to it but a mid temp, which I think contrasts with how fast anime themes in general run in a fun way.

Actual answer is and has always been Angemon.
But I’m in a Digimon podcast and I get to play a Bearmon whose hat says ‘Twinks’ instead of ‘Bears’ and I have such a deep and abiding love for that specific Bearmon.

There’s that one three hit chord progression before the last section that would map really nicely onto a three-hit combo.

There’s an AMV of Sword Grandmas battling hoards of demons to the Golden Girls theme playing in my head now and it rules.

Hey, fair enough. But also, it’s Friday night and he’s playing here instead of, you know, some place bigger. You get booked in the rooms you can fill, you know? And it’s a beautiful theater, one of those old ones from when they had style and class but not microphones. Not huge, but big enough.

Sure, all that’s true. But there’s something else. You can see it in his eyes. A sadness. Not bitter, not angry, but… ah, oh well. Very diverting, Pagliacci. Probably my second favorite clown. No, third. But probably top three! Worth seeing, to be sure.

You should go see him! I hear from my doctor that he’s in town.

She sings into the dark speckled with glow bugs. You stand and feel her presence, hear her song vibrating your abdomen. You wonder if this is how other bugs feel when you grant their wishes, if this is how they feel in Bonebottom or The Flee Caravan.
For you, she is the only safe place in Pharloom.

You stand next to her. You aren’t even as tall as her hip. She’d have to stoop slightly to cup your face. She doesn’t turn to you, but you feel the shift of her posture. You’re both hunters, fighters. Bodies that respond without thought. Not the tension of potential danger. An ease before touch.

You’re out the door and standing next to her before you really the gleam of metal rings and your tool belt and needle you passed as you left.
When was the last time you were outside unarmed? But you don’t mind. She makes you feel as safe as your needle.

Eventually you get up and take her shirt off the floor. On her it’s cropped, hardly covering her thorax, but you slip it over your head and the hem falls half way down your legs. It makes you think of home, where any bug bigger than you was a threat because you are taller than those you keep safe.

They haven’t noticed this fact, in all likelihood.
They’d realize they’ve been dating after three months when someone says to one of them, “Oh, I saw your girlfriend, she went that way,” and still probably wouldn’t discuss it.

And I love this part of it. I love the notion that as *things happen,* people can fall on any side of that line depending on their personal experience. It’s messy, and it’s going to be a mess to lead in the next season, but that’s one of the things I’m really excited for.

With the return of the Overton Bridge and the Beerhall Fire resulting from a succession dispute in addition to rebellious sentiment, The Brazen are probably starting to split along rebellious and loyalist lines. Can anti-imperial Brazen work with the Grays who have been killing them for generations?

There’s also The Runners Guild (formerly in institutional control, but co-opted by the Empire) and the Vinewalker Verdrene (who have partially integrated themselves into the peasantry).

Like Zehollow, for instance.
It’s always been two towns and a fort, with the two major factions being The Brazen (who have institutional leadership) and The Grayfolk (a resistance group). There’s also always been Bazburg, but that’s a secret town.

County Flock is exceptional, made up of sheep- and goat-folk have complex allegiances to gangs or work groups that cross familial or lineal boundaries, and frequently divide themselves into coalitions based on allegiance to the UE, The Hydrangeas, or County Flock above all others.

By and large, your average Bowerlander would identify first primarily with their township or region in the lowlands and hill folks cleaving more closely to their familial clans or kinship networks.
