I respect Max’s attitude about his seat. He intends to do whatever it is that captures his interest. Much the same as Alonso is. Alonso is still driving exceptionally well, and seems to enjoy it. More power to him!!

Honestly, no. I'm happy for increased competition. And remember, it happened to Lewis in China this year as well. I understand that they measure all of the top 10 finishers. McLaren themselves did not dispute it.

If (pretty big if, really) that happens, I guess they’ll just have to find a way to cope 🤷‍♂️. Max has driven a mediocre car exceedingly well this season. Not sure why anyone would want to take that away from him, except for the haters of course.

I am not suggesting that push-back is bad. I agree that we need more of it. But this ‘bad policy’ was a well-known thing prior to the last election, and here we are.
