Doing this on message boards back in the day got you *relentlessly* mocked until you stopped, and you know what? Those people stopped doing it, became way more interesting to talk to, and usually apologized for it.

My even more unpopular opinion is unless you have personally experienced the thing, you should probably refrain from having an opinion on it.

We need to return to shaming people for parroting YouTube/TikTok with stuff like "When I want your opinion, I'll just find the YouTuber who gave it to you."

The entire gaming industry is on a price gouging, rent seeking tear right now. Trying to pair that with 'and we're gonna fill the games you pay for with low quality trash vomited out by a machine, you still have to give us 70 dollars tho' is not gonna work
