3rd read of 2025: The Fifth Season, by NK Jemisin (reread). Confusion is my theme this year i guess lol. A masterclass in fantasy writing, even better on a reread.

Books 2 and 3 this year: "The Fifth Season," by N.K. Jemisin was a reread with a book club. Even better the second time around! And "Rouge," by Mona Awad, a literary horror novel with confusing but beautiful prose that uses beauty standards to haunt the reader.

Finished my first book of 2025! "Invisible Women," by Caroline Criado Perez, speaks to the startling lack of data that takes women into account, and what data DOES exist makes it clear this data gap is dangerous.
