Agreed, some of my favorite architectural designs are in Los Angeles, San Francisco has some very cool ànd interesting ones too, but LA is KING when it comes to creativity.

Where is that place located? I have a goal of photographing every beautiful house in Los Angeles, is this one atleast near a LA metro station? If not, how far is it from one Joe?

People who are fundamentally opposed to neighborhood change will employ any plausible-sounding and socially-acceptable argument against new housing.

If you attempt to address their stated concerns, they will immediately shift to a different argument because they are not operating in good faith.
A *huge* part of discourse is that there are certain objections to change that are coded as socially acceptable, even when they're the opposite of reality and standing in for the true agenda (plain old NIMBYism). School stuff is one of those items (others include affordability and trees).
These people are living in retirement communities and don’t even know it. It’s incredible. Student enrollment has fallen off a cliff all over coastal communities. Marin county’s median age is as old as Japan!

Couldn’t agree with this point more, I desperately try to get through to my MAGA grandmother, but it’s just almost impossible, it’s like talking to a literal brick wall. But on the internet, people are even more impossible to convince, especially on twitter.

Probably not, but I’ve definitely seen other people on here get angry replies over them still using X. Glad you haven’t dealt with it though dude.

Also, it’s supply and demand, even if you somehow filled all those vacant homes, then the home prices would get even worse, and homelessness would increase yet again.

I honestly feel bad for you Dude, you clearly hate using that godawful app, yet you still have to for work. In all Honestly, people shouldn’t be mad at you, they should be mad at the politicians who still use X instead of Bluesky. I luckily don’t have any reason to use X anymore so I’m not.

I’d rather just pay more to live in Minneapolis or Chicago instead. More stuff to do, and I’m not forced to eat at à place called stinky’s.

Just thinking of all the housing, transit oriented development, and mom and pop shops that could have been built there. And then, all they get is that ugly MONSTROSITY of an interchange.
