A bunch of researchers used AI to summarize documents. They found that the summaries were extremely superficial and riddled with errors. It took less time for a human to do the task from beginning to end than it did for several humans to correct the AI's output.

Wrong. Scientists have studied AI, and people who use it regularly suffer from a rapid loss of skills and actual IQ points. People who use AI get stupider by the minute. And it impairs creativity.

LLMs are useless for research. They make things up. And it's not a trivial problem at all. It's very common. And they are useless for "menial tasks" because they make so many mistakes. It takes less time for a human to do a task than it takes for LLMs to do it followed by human corrections.

I hope this experience will be good for us. Most of the population of the US will finally realize that the US is a backwards, third-world country and we have a lot of catching up to do.

How is Russia a power? It can't even conquer one tiny country and its economy is a wreck. The US is just a temporary problem. Trump is disintegrating rapidly and then that problem will go away.

I think it would be more effective if we organized targeted protests: have protestors everywhere Trump goes. It can't be that hard to organize. Get someone to watch his schedule and send anyone willing to go to the correct places.
