Welcomed when you’re profitable, resented when you’re permanent, politicized, and autonomous.

Migration is not natural but a response to systematic constraint.

In consciousness, the mind becomes visible. Our ego selects from the mass of the material world. We order and evaluate objects, shape them according to our will, and thus determine the objective world from within ourselves.

Despite advancement in transnational knowledge, the public is led into and remains with a vision of migration as departure and arrival. In reality, however, it doesn't happen so linearly, and we experience manifold returns.

If we lose awareness of how important our culture of literary and artistic production is, our understanding of free expression goes with it.

When the German patriot @oezdemir.de splits the EU flag into X, all the self-righteous Germans crawl out of the woodwork and display their hatred for what made Germany stable. Parts of the population are so stupid that they believe the German flag and isolationism have made Germany strong.

It should not surprise us how quickly the nineteenth-century prejudice that white men should dominate “inferior” Africans, Asians, and Latin American peoples has become common sense for much of Western politics and journalism.
