Hey yes - that’s the two child limit! The benefit cap is a limit on the total amount of benefits/UC a person can get, and that’s remaining in place. So some families will technically have the right to more child benefits, but they will be still blocked by the benefit cap if it makes sense?

Side note - I know it's not the worst we've heard in the past few weeks, but they literally wrote in their Budget they want to make the refugee protection offer ✨ less attractive ✨

I would argue that the last thing which is needed now is Western, or any other country 's interference in how Syrians create a system of governance which works for them. What Western nations do need to do though is ensure that they continue to provide asylum for those seeking it. 7/
