As a sucker for farming games, Cattle Country was a fun experience. The writing was very authentic to the old western style. I also liked how all the characters got story scenes not just romanceable ones. A+ mining, fishing wasn't annoying, and they had an interesting drought system.

Little Rocket Lab made Factorio style gameplay accessible to new people to the genre and built a touching story around it to provide a reason to build insane spaghetti factories. Big plus for the isometric style!

I played Crashlands 2 because my husband listens to the Butterscotch Shenanigans podcast and got me into it. GORGEOUS art, good humor, and a crafting game that isn't just organizing chests for hours on end. Great game!

Expedition 33 will probably win GOTY tonight and it is well deserved! Best story of the year and as someone who typically doesn't enjoy "hard" combat, E33 combat was fun enough to do some of the more punishing fights.

Death Stranding was one of my favorite games of all time and Death Stranding 2 is up there with one of the best sequels. They took everything that made DS1 good and made it better. I 100% the game in 120 hours and STILL wanted more. Amazing soundtrack as well that I listen to regularly.
