Cautiously optimistic for these changes! I prefer juries in the semis and I think having a larger, younger jury will make sure more quality modern songs will still make it through without it devolving into televote bait.
Changes to the Eurovision Song Contest voting framework will be introduced for Vienna 2026:
Clearer rules around promotion, fewer maximum votes, juries returning to the Semi-Finals, and enhanced technical safeguards to be implemented ahead of May.

#TheGameAwards nominees are out! Death Stranding 2 is in my top 10 games of all time, so it's no surprise it's my GOTY by far. I'm in the middle of playing E33, but I think it will end up in my top 5 of the year. Awesome that BALL X PIT was nominated for indie GOTY I really liked that one too!

Just finished Little Rocket Lab. As someone who liked the IDEA of Factorio more than actually playing it, LRL was a more accessible version packaged into a cute cozy format! My top 5 games of the year is going to be hard to pick 😭

I just finished "When to Jump" by Mike Lewis. A bit of survivorship bias at play with the stories, so keep that in mind! But as someone who is going to jump to give full time game dev a go in the next few months, it was a sanity check. I feel like I'm actually ready now, which is scary but exciting!

I think my husband spoke the Deus Ex remaster into existence 😅 he was just mentioning last week he was thinking of doing a replay and then it was announced yesterday. I've never played so I'm excited to give it a go when it comes out next year!

I'm glad I didn't hear about Discounty until I tried the demo during the latest Next Fest. It's been brutal enough waiting since June to play the full game 😅

Hyped for the Rollercoaster Tycoon speedrun on #SGDQ2025. Simulation games are one of my favorite genres and RCT was one of the first ones I played as a kid 😊

Gearing up for the #Eurovision 2025 grand final! The one nice part about being in the US is that it's at 3pm instead of super late into the night 😅. I think it's going to be either Sweden, Finland, or Switzerland winning this year, but honestly it's SO open, maybe my fav Lithuania can take it! TAVO!

#Eurovision semi final 2 was way better than the first one 😅 Lost Australia but Lithuania and Latvia made it through so I'm happy!

Just caught up on the semi final 1 of #Eurovision, gutted for Cyprus and Belgium! My spouse's favorite song was Croatia so we're feeling sad about that one too. Hopefully semi final 2 will be nicer to my favs!

Now that all the Eurovision songs are released, I can start creating my top, I think it will move around a bit before May. Compared to 2024, the lineup is a bit weaker for me, but not as bad as some people are making it out to be 🤷 I'm enjoying the variety!
