Never. Like 9/11, the changes are deep and shape life to this day. The damage to the national psyche is permanent. MAGA types won’t change overnight, in fact, bitterness may grow. Congress won’t magically start working together. This era will forever shape America and like 9/11, not in a good way.

Trump and members of his regime plan on issuing illegal orders to them?” Should read “plan on continuing to issue illegal orders…”. Because, mark my words, that’s already been done and the orders were carried out. There’s some military members swearing right now.

Absolutely. We had Law of War (LoW) Training at least once a year. Conducted by the JAG. It detailed what was illegal, reporting responsibility and reporting procedures. And a test. I did this 33 yrs in a row, it was mandatory, you couldn’t deploy if you weren’t current. Same as dental or gas mask.

I understand there is a core bowl of Froot Loops who will follow him to hell. Reuters/Ipsos has him at 38%. OK, get that. But 33% of college grads, 4 yr or higher approve. Our education system has failed, not just at the lower levels. 1/3 of college grads are good with this. Unbelievable.

People talking about the 38%. I take no issue with that, we’ve always known about his base and how unshakable they can be. Where I have an issue is the 33%. The 33% of college grads w/ a 4 yr or higher. Didn’t expect that. Our educational system is failing and not just at the lower levels.

I received Law of War (LoW) training semi-annually. Included was illegal orders and your responsibility to report and not obey them. Fox is whiney baby over something that isn’t something. This is taught to every military from initial training to end of service.
