I heard someone on a podcast say “don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater” about AI, and this is a large part of why that made me angry. The baby is some dumb shit like “it helps me brainstorm!” And the bath water is like 30 ways in which it’s destroying lives. I’d nuke that tub from orbit.

You cannot have “AI” without having “machine that almost solely exists to create nonconsensual sexually explicit images of mainly women and children.” The former exists in tandem with the latter. That’s how this industry has worked so far, and it has only gotten worse with zero accountability

Si vous n’avez pas la réf’ : « slop » en anglais veut littéralement dire bouillie, et c’est utilisé (grâce à @simonwillison.net) pour dire « contenu médiocre généré en masse par IA ».

I sort of wish y'all took this more seriously, because this attitude is a reinforcement of heterosexuality as a hierarchy. It's an acknowledgement and understanding that it's not enough to "be with" a woman, or even to father children.

They define manhood as exploitation, abuse, and dominance.
