Self-reflection and goal setting exercises are so tough. Because it forces you to really be honest with yourself. And when you haven't always done that, there's a lot of resistance. Low key a bit scary too lol.

The best streamers in the world are always looking to create good content, and I don't only mean for live, but also content that works well on YouTube.
Because if it doesn't, then everything that they're doing on stream lost to one platform.

Convenience is everywhere, but too much isn't good.
AI should be a tool to HELP you think, not do your thinking.
It should handle routine, repeatable tasks you don't need to learn while you focus on high-level execution and strategic thinking.

Creating content is supposed to be fun!
It's more fun you don't have to do the stuff you hate.
That's why you gotta delegate as soon as you can.
Little by little, you'll eventually feel a huge weight off of your shoulders.

Coming back here after a while I noticed that in gaming and esports, it feels like this platform is used to promote things more than having discussions.

2024 personal wins!
+ started working out consistently (5 months strong and still going!)
+ improved my mental health & became more emotionally stable
+ Had the courage to do the hard & scary things
+ Became more confident
+ got so much better at doing chores 😂

I'm just learning that BlueSky needs an AI feature to have an option to automatically add ALT text for people who aren't good at describing images or if it adds to posting anxiety for them.
I noticed another strange list thing going where people will make blocklists for artists who don’t use ALT text in their art/images…
I understand they’re very important & useful(I use them too) but why are users making lists for that? I don’t think it’s good to push that on others who choice not to

Single player gaming might be my saving grace.
I'm way too competitive. So when I play multiplayer games, I try hard to the point where it's like another career.
With single player games I can get lost and just enjoy myself. ❤️

They just feel like they have to make content on social media instead of being social and engaging in discussions

Being on bluesky without fighting through a sea of bots and ads made me realize I don’t dislike social media, I disliked not being able to be social on social media

Did you know there’s a reminder in Settings/Accessibility to toggle on & then it won’t let you post image without Alt-text.

I had a conversation with a friend the other day about the point of platforms like this.
Most people use it right, but creators have a different perspective based on the goal to be discovered. Can't fault them.
