Personally, I've never felt the need for anything other than a standard sports screen. But then, I have a sports style of riding and don't sit upright.

A lot of classics are being dry-stored until they gain in value - or to be trailered and shown off, or only run for special events. The risk in running them is that something then breaks and needs replacing.

Depends. Some laptops use a magnet to detect when the screen is closed and putting a magnet on the laptop could simulate that and shut it down. Used to be a neat, but annoying, trick of mine..🙂

MSF UK is also known as Doctors Without Borders in the UK. It's not so well known compared to the Red Cross/Crescent.

No, that's the Michelin Man in the UK. It's mainly the French who call it Bibendum (after the original slogan and newspaper adverts).
