Mine was even less - just a really heavy cold for a day then fine again. You can improve your immune system and your fitness (by eating right and exercising) to cope with the symptoms, though that isn't a guarantee.

Bizarre. Maybe it's just different with those who read Science Fiction and Fantasy - there are some epic women authors in those genres - Ursula K LeGuin, Anne McCaffrey, Marion Zimmer Bradley - couldn't imagine anyone missing books by those.
