The credulity about the ai generated draw is... about on par with the credulity about other, very stupid ideas held in and around the NRL but still, come the fuck on people

Pacific Championships final was everything the Ashes weren't: better spectacle, better quality, better refereeing, better production.

Lesson: English are hereby banned from being involved in rugby league.

Shout out to
1) the absolute degenerates at Parramatta for COK vs RSA
2) rugby league's commitment to a jersey clash

Hard to tell whether England's attack or the production of the games were worse.

Australia, away from home, carrying that lump Cotter, conceded two tries in three games without finding any real form.

Cannot find a single thing on the internet about what brought this about. Asahi and Green Beacon both don't acknowledge its existence. It has 22 check-ins on Untappd.

It remains incredible, in the literal sense, that what rugby league needed was a slightly above replacement level leader that was willing to make some decisions and do some deals on tour. That's enough to sort out the biggest ticket items.

Nearly 20 years since GB/England beat Australia (2006) with 14 straight victories and 14 consecutive Ashes wins. Not quite at interstate series levels but not that far off (20 straight series, 17 straight wins to end of 1981, last Qld win in 1975).

England: not great. 40-10, including one (1) garbage time try in 160 minutes, so far in the series and the Kangaroos have played below what I imagine they would be capable of in attack.
